Progress Update #13 🛠️ — Final Touches Before Pre-Launch & New Spell Cards!

Fantasy Tabletop Devlog – Kickstarter Pre-Launch, Spell Card Reveal & Chaos Update

Hi warriors!

Another week, another devblog — and this one’s a special one. We’re this close to launching the Frozen Realms Kickstarter pre-launch page! Just a few final tweaks and you’ll get to see the full thing in a little over a week. We can’t wait to share it with you!

Banner Glow-Up – Story Section Upgrade

We’ve reworked the first story banner on the page to better show off what Frozen Realms is all about.
Wanna compare the old and new versions? Let’s go!

💫 Spell Reveal – Blizzard Incoming!

Time for some spell-casting! One of the new additions to the Human spell deck is Blizzard — a chilling ability that blinds your enemies and slows their advance. ❄️

💫 Lore Drop

Before the Zarhi jungles took root… before the Chaos twisted the land… Frozen Realms were, quite literally, a land of ice. Snow-covered plains stretched across the world, and the cold was the world’s natural heartbeat.

Even now, with so many changes across the world, the Empire’s sorcerers still hold to tradition. Ice is the first element they learn to master — not just for its power, but for its deep cultural meaning. Channeling cold helps them visualize magic clearly. It’s not mandatory, but few ever walk a different path.

And so — when the Empire’s sorcerous might strikes, it does so in a storm of snow and silence…

But here’s a question for you:

Would you rather cast Fireball or Frost Prison? 🔥🧊

Drop your pick in the comments — we’re keeping score 👀

☠️ Chaos Corner – Blightthorn Idol

You thought we forgot about Chaos? Never.
Say hello to the cursed Battle Card: Blightthorn Idol – twisted, dangerous, and probably not something you’d want in your backyard. Or maybe you would?

Lore Drop

Adderol — once a brilliant mage of the Empire — was known for pushing the boundaries of magic in search of a weapon to finally break the Chaos forces.

But the deeper he went… the more it changed him. Whispers became voices. Visions became truth. And eventually, he vanished — leaving behind only this Idol.

Some say he died. Others claim he crossed into the Wastes… to speak with the Chaos Gods themselves.

Whatever the truth, one thing is clear — his betrayal marked a turning point, and the Emperor never again underestimated the power of corruption.

🏳️ Race Showcase Banner – Pick Your Allegiance!

We’ve also updated the Race Showcase banner to better introduce the playable factions.
It looks way more dynamic and really sets the tone. Question is… Where does your allegiance lie? ⚔️

And… that’s a wrap for this week’s update!
