Fantasy Tabletop Devlog – Playtesting, Armor Piercing Nerfs & New Human/Zarhi Cards

Anddd – we are back 🔥 Pre-launch page is alive and well – almost hitting 200! Thanks for the support to all of you!

But what happened during the past week? Well… a lot. We are constantly playtesting the game and there are already big changes we are making – one of them is the armor piercing trait. The one that lets you pass through enemy armor and directly deal damage.

From our tests, attack values on units with this trait are too high, making them OP and, in turn, there is no incentive for the player to use units without this trait. Here is the old good Hellcroak – his Attack is definitely going to be lower, currently reduced to 6 and adjusted on other units with armor piercing accordingly.

Since we are talking Chaos – here is a collection of Chaos units we revealed on our socials since the beginning! And the gallery will only grow in size!

Loads of Chaos in the devblog, but where is some light?? Here you go – the new technology card for the Human Race – Modular Armor.

Ever since the human race began advancing thanks to Zarhi knowledge and technology, we’ve quickly caught up with our “saviours” – and started developing inventions of our own.

One of these breakthroughs is the Modular Armor, a revolutionary design that grants battle beasts far greater protection against incoming attacks. The invention was quickly adopted by the Zarhi, but it raises a question…

Where will the Empire be in a hundred years? Will we eventually surpass our allies?

Oh… and that’s right – the very new Zarhi card is also here. Unguarded cities? – “Not on my watch… that’s for sure” – Ancient Warden Card, 1000s of years ago, colorized (probably).

🦎 In the Zarhi cities, conduits are the beating heart of their Empire – an interconnected network capable of transporting matter and bending reality itself. Maintaining them drains vast amounts of magical energy, yet the benefits far outweigh the cost.

Many Chaos invasions have charged into “undefended” territories… only to be met with the full might of Zarhi forces, arriving through the conduits in minutes and crushing the attackers without mercy.

When stepping into their lands… think your strategy through carefully…

And the devblog unfortunately has to come to an end… We’ll keep playtesting and you can watch for updates, because for sure there’s going to be lots on our socials!

Remember – if you have any questions, suggestions, new ideas to implement – fire away 🔥 See you next week!
