Progress Update #23 🛠️ – Creator of Frozen Realms, Wording Consistency & New Lore
Fantasy Tabletop Devlog – Creator Introduction, Wording Consistency & Ariath Lore Reveal
It’s been a week since the last devblog – annd man, what a week it’s been!
So… as promised in the previous update – here I am in flesh and blood… ehh okay, I think that does it XD
Anyways – for those who prefer watching, here’s the YouTube video with me talking a bit about myself, the reasons behind the game, and the future of Frozen Realms – happy watching 🔥
And for those who prefer reading – on we go!
My name is Kuba Radziwon, and I’m the main creator of Frozen Realms.
A little bit about me? I’m a 23-year-old student of law and economics in Poznań.
What about some of my passions? Board games (that’s kinda obvious XD), robotics, and programming – and I also like sports! I’m also a big fantasy and sci-fi fan, but if I had to choose one… well, that’s easy – fantasy all the way!
Why Frozen Realms?
As a huge fan of strategy games, I’ve always loved deckbuilding and 4X mechanics.
That said, I never really saw a game that truly combined both.
And so – the idea of Frozen Realms: Tabletop Fantasy 4X Deckbuilder was born 🔥
📜 Rewording the Cards
Wording consistency in games is very important – so we’ve started building our own “game dictionary” to make sure all the text on cards, effects, and abilities stays consistent across the game!
Let us know if it’s something you tend to notice in other games too!

What’s an Empire Without Its Capital?
Well… not much of an Empire!
So here it is – Ariath, the heart of the Human Race 🔥
Ariath, currently under the rule of Emperor Cale Arias – son of the late Emperor Valerion Arias – is often called the last heart of humanity. That’s not entirely true, since other cities still thrive, but Ariath is undeniably the largest, its influence felt across the realms. It gives the Empire both legitimacy and strength.
It’s here that the Empire’s armies converge and march to battle. It’s here that the logistics heart of the Empire beats strongest. While places like Frozen Peaks may not fully fall under Imperial rule, their autonomy is severely limited and tied closely to Ariath itself.
If Ariath falls… humanity’s days are numbered.

And with that, it’s time to wrap up this devblog!
Thanks for following our progress 🔥 – and as always, if you’ve got any questions or suggestions, you know where to reach us!
See you in the next one 🔥
