Progress Update #25 🛠️ – Frozen Realms Animations, Balance of Power & Font Changes!

Fantasy Tabletop Devlog – New Font Design, Unit Balancing System & Frozen Realms Animations

Another Monday and another handful of updates!

Let’s start off with the most visual change… and that is the change in the font 🔥

As you know, we’ve been thinking about changing the font for a long time, and we finally decided to do it! But only partially…
We reached a sort of compromise between readability and “coolness” of the font.

The Name of the Card, Special Ability Title, and Type of the Unit will now be in a more fantasy-looking font.
They’re still bigger than the normal text on the card, so readability shouldn’t be an issue!

Meanwhile, the Special Ability Text and Card Lore will stay in the same font as before.
This way, the cards are just as readable, but the overall look feels less… let’s say basic 🔥

So check out the new font!

As for balance – we’re currently working on fine-tuning individual units.
Each unit, based on its stats, special ability, and traits, gets a balance score that we use as a reference for how much it should cost to recruit.

Once we’re done with the specific balancing, we’ll move on to synergies – how cards interact and behave together will be our next big focus!

Ohhhh, and we also made some cool animations for a few units – definitely check them out!
And let us know if you’d like to see more 🔥

That’s it for this week’s update!
More of everything next week – see you then 🔥
