Fantasy Tabletop Devlog – New Zarhi Battle Cards, Primal Tactics & Kickstarter Tier Reveal

No snow here in Poland… but there’s plenty in Frozen Realms, that’s for sure ❄️
Anyway – welcome back to another weekly Devblog!

For today, we’ve got something a little different – new Zarhi Battle Cards, part of the upcoming stretch goals, are in the making!

Let’s start with Wounded Prey, a new Tactic Card.
The whole theme of prey and predator fits perfectly into the Zarhi culture of primal fury and strength.

With a great number of feral beasts among them, many act purely on their most basic instincts – and a wounded target is an obvious target in the eyes of those jungle predators.

While it’s true that Zarhi civilization is far older than the human one, it’s also true that they boast an incredibly diverse society – from almost mindless killer theropods to sophisticated, ancient, and knowledgeable Zarhi Priests.

This card is a testament to the primal instincts that run through the veins of those jungle predators.
A very useful card for concentrating your “firepower” on a single weakened unit that needs to be taken out. 🔥

Next up… Follow the Bloodtrail.
Another card perfectly in line with the Zarhi’s primal nature.
A very useful tool for your units, giving them the opportunity to finish off a target within the same turn.

More on unique mechanics is coming next week – but for now, let’s talk a bit about Kickstarter and what you can expect!

As for the tiers, we’re currently planning to go with three main ones.

The first tier will include the core edition of the game and standard stretch goals.

The second and third tiers will likely include additional stretch goals, new Battle Maps, and… expansions with unique mechanics and factions! 🔥
