Progress Update #37 🛠️ – Spell Card Reverses & Updated Timelines

Fantasy Tabletop Devlog – Updated Development Timeline, Spell Card Reverses & 2026 Roadmap

And we are finally here – 2026.
The myth, the legend… the year Frozen Realms goes live!
So first of all – all the best to you all, and we hope you absolutely crush whatever it is you’re working on this year 🔥

Let’s start with some important announcements.
As you might remember, we initially aimed to deliver the prototype in January/February. However, after a few last-minute changes and a careful look at where the project currently stands, we’ve decided to let go of the January dream.

Believe us – we’d love to jump straight into the real showcase, but quality comes first!

So how does it look now?
End of February is still possible, but to avoid making any false promises, we’re officially setting the prototype date to March – just to be safe.

With that said, we wanted to share an early timeline for Frozen Realms.

IMPORTANT: this is not the final, locked-in timeline – it’s meant to give you a general idea of how things are likely to play out.

The official timeline will be published either on launch day or a few weeks before. The version released then is the one we’ll fully commit to.

Here’s how it currently looks:

March 2026

Final prototype ready & first physical showcases

March – May 2026

Prototype content, previews, events & feedback-driven game changes

May 11 – June 8, 2026

Kickstarter campaign

June – October 2026

Final balancing, game art finalization, rulebook polish & print-ready files

October – November 2026

Mass production

December 2026 – February 2027

Freight & fulfillment

March 2027

Estimated delivery to backers worldwide

This gives us enough time to properly polish the game and make sure the final product meets the quality we’re aiming for 🔥
And just to be clear for the future – we will always prioritize product quality over sticking rigidly to a timeline. That’s why we fully stand behind the decision to move the prototype from February to March.

Now let’s get back to development!

Here’s something we haven’t shown before – the Zarhi Spell Card reverse:

The goal here was a strong jungle vibe mixed with magical energy – the vines along the edges really help sell that theme.
What do you think?

And here’s the Chaos version of the Spell Card reverse:

Magic at the center, surrounded by dark, shadowy corruption along the edges.
Which one is your favourite?

Today’s update was a bit more informative – but hey, timelines matter!
And honestly, there’s no better moment to share them than right at the beginning of the year.

As always, if you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback – drop them in the comments, message us on socials, or reach out however you like (we reply fast – very fast 🔥).

See you in the next one – and Happy New Year 🔥
