Heyy! Here comes the usual weekly Devblog… or should it be unusual? Because we are currently live with the Kickstarter campaign!!
Before we begin, we wanted to thank you so much, all of you who backed the campaign so early!! We got funded in under two hours and your support is honestly awesomee. It’s kind of an overused phrase imo, but it truly means the world to us 🔥
Of course, dropping the link for those of you who haven’t yet seen the launch page!
First things first, let’s talk a bit about the stretch goals. As we already got funded, here come 5 cards that have unlocked and you will get them for free!
As you can see, the next stretch goal is going to be a tactic card from the Zarhi. This one is a little wild and can be really helpful when trying to reach an enemy Unit or, in the worst case scenario, deal some damage.
Anyways, the campaign is on and let’s take some time now to answer some important questions that you asked!
Q: One thing some of you asked was regarding the Kickstarter funding goal, and why isn’t it higher?
A: And the answer here is pretty simple! So as you know from the Devblogs and the whole Frozen Realms history, we have invested a lot of time, work and heart into the project, but also a lot of money. The easiest example is the 20 prototypes of Frozen Realms we produced, artists and graphic designers we hired for illustrations, composers for the trailer and much more! So the thing is, we have already put a lot into this project, and after the Kickstarter ends we are planning to support the rest of the funding ourselves if needed. So Kickstarter is a way for us to raise money to make sure we can bring it to life, but also see how Frozen Realms performs on the market!
Q: There was also one question about the fulfillment date and whether March 2027 is doable.
A: And of course it is! That’s the original official timeline and we are sticking to it. Of course, just like with the prototype, if anything comes up, we will be here to let you know!
