Progress Update #57 🛠️ – What’s Inside the Standard Edition Box?
Fantasy Tabletop Devlog – What’s Inside the Frozen Realms Standard Edition? Cards, Map Tiles, Structures & Components Breakdown
Another week with the Kickstarter campaign going strong! Link to the campaign down below 🔥🔥
Today, let’s take a look at what is inside the box of the Standard Edition!
Starting off, we’ve got over 1300 various cards inside the box, including Unit Cards, Campaign Map Unit Cards, Campaign Map Cards, Spell Cards, Item Cards, Tactic Cards and of course Technology Cards. All in all, cards are one of the most important parts of the game. They are your Units and your capabilities during battles, they are what you build your deck with and decide on your strategies throughout the whole game!

Next up we go with the Structure Tiles, and at that 590 of them! These are your buildings that you will place to build your cities. From ones that provide you with recruitment, give the ability to recruit your Units or even add walls to your settlements to make them harder to conquer for the enemy… They are at the heart of your Empire.

After that you will need something to build your structures on… And that is what the 49 Map Tiles are for. To set up the lands of Frozen Realms and start conquering them one by one! Remember, each tile is 15 cm x 15 cm, so when fully set up, the map is massive!!
What you also need is the Battle Map, which of course comes in the box as well. On the Battle Map you will resolve all the clashes with your enemies!

Next up let’s take a look at 5 Faction Boards, each providing different bonuses and offering different playstyles. You want to go with the full magic everywhere experience? Zual’Thaz is the one for you! More melee fighting and powerful infantry? Take the Astari!

And of course 21 Battle Structures that will aid you in your battles, acting as defensive walls or even damage-dealing structures!

At the end we get the 4 Resource Boards where you will keep track of your resources with your dry-erase markers and, when playing with Chaos, track your Dread numbers. Along with that comes the Rule Book and the Lore Book!

All of that comes in one big box, as you can probably imagine XD With the Standard Edition weighing at over 11 kg (24 lbs)!!

Okayy, now you know all about the contents of the Standard Edition! And remember, if you’ve got any questions, feedback or anything, don’t hesitate to drop a comment! See you next Monday 🔥
